Terms of Use

Legal notice
Not investment advice. The operator of this site is not licensed as an investment adviser. We have no personal interest in any item shown and receive nothing from issuers, funds or brokers. This is general information, the same for everyone, and is not a substitute for advice that takes into account the particular data and needs of each person.
These terms govern your use of the IncomeGrid website (the "Site"), operated by its operator ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. What the Site is
The Site is a free screener, an information tool. It lists publicly available information about US income investments and estimates yields after tax. It sorts them by an objective number you choose, such as estimated yield after tax, maturity or credit category. You don't need an account.
2. Same information for everyone
The Site shows the same data to every user. When you enter a place of tax residence, a tax bracket or an amount, the Site only applies published tax rates and arithmetic to that data, in your browser. It doesn't know your finances, goals, other holdings or risk tolerance, and it doesn't take them into account.
3. Not advice
- Nothing on the Site is investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security or product. The order of results reflects the sorting rule you chose, not our opinion of any investment.
- We have no personal interest in the items shown and receive nothing from links to brokers or other websites.
- This information is general and is not a substitute for personal advice that takes into account your specific data and needs.
- We are not registered or licensed as an investment adviser, broker-dealer or investment marketer in any jurisdiction.
- Tax estimates are simplified. They use general published rates and assumptions for the residence you select, which are described on our methodology page (Sources & method). They may not reflect your situation, recent changes in the law, treaty conditions, withholding by your broker, estate or inheritance tax, or state and local rules. Check with a qualified tax professional.
- Investing involves risk, including loss of capital. Yields are estimates, not guarantees. Bond prices move, issuers can default, funds can change their distributions, and past data doesn't predict the future.
4. Availability of products
Some products shown may not be available to you, depending on your country, your broker or your investor status. For example, US-listed funds are generally not offered to retail investors in the UK and the EU, and some money-market funds aren't offered to non-US persons. Showing a product is not an offer to anyone in any jurisdiction where that offer would be unlawful.
5. Data, sources and delays
- The data comes from public sources, including the US Treasury, the SEC (EDGAR), the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, ESMA, IEX and state tax authorities. See Sources & method for every source and its attribution. Data is delayed: some prices are from month-end or quarter-end regulatory filings and may be weeks or months old. Each figure shows an "as of" date.
- We apply automatic freshness checks and flag or hide data older than our published limits (see Sources & method). Even so, data may contain errors or omissions, and it may be out of date.
- Sources are credited as their terms require. No source endorses the Site. In particular, use of US Treasury data does not imply endorsement by the Department of the Treasury.
6. Links to other websites
The Site links to official sources, government sites and, where shown, examples of brokers or platforms. We receive no payment, commission or other benefit for any link, and links carry no affiliate or tracking codes. The order is alphabetical or otherwise neutral, and a link is not an endorsement. We are not responsible for third-party websites, their content, fees or services.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the Site for your own information, and you may share links to it. You may not:
- (a) scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract the Site's data or compilation to build a competing database or service, except as expressly permitted;
- (b) interfere with or overload the Site, or try to get around security measures;
- (c) present the Site's output as your own advice or recommendation to others, or remove disclaimers or attributions;
- (d) use the Site unlawfully.
8. Intellectual property
The design, software, text, methodology and our compilation and calculations belong to the operator of this site or its licensors. Third-party data remains subject to its owners' rights and terms. Product and company names are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to identify the products or companies and imply no affiliation. FIGI identifiers come from OpenFIGI (openfigi.com) and are used under its terms.
9. No warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its data. This includes investment losses, tax liabilities, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss.
- Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability is limited to USD 100.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or, where applicable, for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing limits statutory consumer rights that can't be waived.
11. Changes to the Site and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change, and continued use after an update means you accept it. Material changes will be flagged on the Site.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Tel Aviv–Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
13. Contact
Contact details will be published on this page.
